Annual Psychiatric Times® World CME Conference™ Overview

The treatment of psychiatric disease is evolving, with advances in imaging and genomic profiling. The emergence of investigational molecules presents potential new treatments for prevalent psychiatric disorders. With these advancements, it is important that psychiatrists, along with members of the multidisciplinary care team, understand the latest clinical developments and how to best apply that knowledge in clinical practice.

The Annual Psychiatric Times® World CME Conference™ is an impactful, 3-day, educational venue for addressing knowledge gaps related to the application of new strategies in psychiatry to real-world clinical practice. This meeting will showcase expert presentations and panel discussions addressing emerging treatments, data, and best practices for managing challenging psychiatric diagnoses, including adverse events from therapy, manic-depressive disorder, schizophrenia, women’s psychiatric health, and more. This experience provides the ideal curriculum for psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, with a focus on patient scenarios reflecting on how to handle challenging cases, integrating relevant evidence into real-world patient management, and comparing your practices with those of experts and peers. In addition, the meeting will apply vehicles to assist you in understanding and growing your competency in the latest clinical care, enhancing your learning experience of examining key emerging treatment concepts.
