This 3rd annual program focusing on liquid biopsy in cancer will cover some of the latest updates and current trends in use of liquid biopsy for the management of patients with cancer. Liquid biopsy has changed the management of patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, and gastrointestinal cancers, and continues to evolve as liquid biopsy continues to prove its utility alongside direct tumoral biopsy. Liquid biopsy is a general term that refers to analysis of circulating tumor cells, cell-free DNA (cfDNA) sourced from plasma, serum, or other liquid material, as well as genetic material within exosomes. Multiple technologies and techniques with varying levels of sensitivity have been developed and continue to be developed across tumors. Multiple commercial assays are available and are in active clinical use. Understanding current applications and future directions, applying clinical evidence to individualize patient treatment, and understanding the relative advantages and capabilities of available testing technologies will be addressed in this innovative half-day program.

Benefits of Attending

  • Update your practice with the best practices concerning selection of therapy using liquid biopsy technologies across solid tumors, including lung cancer, breast cancer, and gastrointestinal cancers
  • Apply clinical trial evidence regarding specific testing modalities in the management of patients with solid tumors
  • Through case-based learning and in-depth review of clinical trial evidence, recognize current uses of liquid biopsy in clinical practice and realize future directions
  • See how top experts in the field use liquid biopsy in selected patient groups and learn from diverse perspectives on the application of these technologies for patient management
