Live webcast: 8:00pm-9:30pm ET

Navigating Melanoma Management With Targeted Therapies and Immunotherapies: Program Overview

In recent years, treatment options for melanoma, particularly advanced disease, have expanded to include targeted therapies and immunotherapies with improved efficacy compared with standard chemotherapy. The use of the BRAF/MEK inhibitors and checkpoint inhibitors continues to evolve. Moreover, new combinations of existing and novel agents, including IDO1 inhibitors paired with vaccine therapy or checkpoint inhibitors, are also under investigation. With this evolution of the treatment landscape, continuing education for nursing professions—who are integral to the melanoma treatment team—is warranted to achieve optimized patient outcomes.

This live webcast is specifically designed to educate and empower nursing professionals who provide health care to patients with melanoma. It will feature expert faculty sharing data and clinical insights on the role and mechanistic activity of targeted therapies and immunotherapies used to treat melanoma; clinical profiles of available agents; strategies for managing treatment-related toxicities; and emerging data on novel combination regimens that are being investigated. The webcast will feature 3 segments, each focusing on a different aspect of the management approach and each including guiding patient case vignette, brief presentations on key findings and patient counseling messages, and a panel discussion that summarizes key points and offers guidance on implementation of best practices in the clinic.

Benefits of Attending This Live Webcast, Hosted by PER®
