Next Generation Sequencing Workshop™ Overview

The Next Generation Sequencing Workshop™: Breast Cancer Edition is an interactive CME-certified program being held adjunct to the 37th Annual Miami Breast Cancer Conference®. This activity will help you establish best practices for use of next-generation sequencing (NGS) testing in the diagnosis and care of your patients with breast cancer. The expert faculty will lead you in a guided discussion of established and evolving roles of tissue- and liquid-biopsy-based NGS testing in breast cancer, followed by an interactive workshop on NGS test result interpretation and application. Scenarios explored in the workshop will include a variety of breast cancer subtypes to illuminate how, when, and why these testing options can be of value. The roundtable format will enrich your learning experience by facilitating engagement with the expert faculty and your peers.

Benefits of Attending

  • Engage in peer exchange regarding challenges and best practices in use of NGS for breast cancer
  • Improve your understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different biopsy and NGS assay approaches
  • Experience how experts interpret and apply NGS test results to develop treatment plans
