Updates in the Journey for Disease-Modifying Therapies for Alzheimer Disease

Updates in the Journey for Disease-Modifying Therapies for Alzheimer Disease

November 24, 2020

Live, Interactive Virtual Webcast!

7:00 PM - 8:15 PM EST

Alzheimer disease (AD) remains one of the most challenging conditions to manage, with no approved treatments that slow disease progression. And while our population ages, rates of screening and diagnosis are woefully low. However, early results from ongoing clinical trials for agents with various pathophysiologic targets are encouraging.

During this live, interactive webcast, expert faculty will discuss incorporation of current and emerging biomarkers that can aid in early diagnosis. Current treatments will be reviewed. Targets for the various agents in clinical trials will be described, followed by presentation of data from second-generation immunotherapies. The program will conclude with practical approaches to manage comorbidities and improve quality of life for both patients and their caregivers. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions throughout the program.

Benefits of Attending

  • Get up-to-date on diagnostic tools, including neuroimaging and biomarkers
  • Hear from experts on the most recent clinical data for agents under investigation for AD
  • Gain insights on practical strategies for patients and their caregivers in management of comorbidities and individualized options to enhance quality of life
  • Network with leading faculty through live Q&A sessions
