This program, being filmed in front of a live studio audience, will update participants on the changing treatment landscape for ovarian cancer and other gynecologic malignancies. Using a roundtable discussion format, a panel of experts will discuss novel approaches to the management of ovarian cancer, including the latest in genomic sequencing and use of PARP inhibitors. They will debate the medical and surgical management ovarian cancer in the first-line and recurrent disease settings. Our panelists will also incorporate case scenarios into the discussion that highlight some of the important clinical questions faced in routine practice.
Finally, we will touch on treatment options for gynecologic malignancies other than ovarian cancer, including squamous cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix and endometrial carcinoma. We will discuss appropriate treatment for these patients, in whom the approaches to treatment have been evolving.
Who Should Attend
This educational activity is directed toward medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists involved in the treatment of patients with gynecologic malignancies. Fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals interested in the treatment of gynecologic cancer may also participate.
