Putting the Patient First: Individualized Strategies for the Treatment and Management of von Willebrand Disease

Thursday, March 11, 2021
Live, Interactive Webcast
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM EST
Overview
Although the clinical management of von Willebrand Disease (VWD) has evolved over the past few decades, it continues to pose a therapeutic challenge. There is currently no cure for VWD; however, there are safe and effective treatments for all known types of this disease. Ensuring that clinicians who treat this condition maintain knowledge that is at the forefront of clinical decision-making is critical to promoting optimized patient outcomes.
This symposium features expert clinician-researcher faculty who will share data regarding the mechanistic activity, efficacy, and safety of therapeutic strategies that target VWD pathophysiology. Furthermore, the faculty will use in-depth, case-based discussion to share best practices for selecting therapy for patients with Type 1, 2, and 3 VWD.
Benefits of Attending
