Bladder Cancer Treatment in an Era of Novel Mechanistic Approaches: Program Overview

Clinical Interchange: Bladder Cancer Treatment in an Era of Novel Mechanistic Approaches: Emerging Clinical Considerations is a live-stream, interactive broadcast that will present new clinical data and its implications for the treatment of bladder cancer. During the broadcast, a panel of genitourinary specialists will present case scenarios and engage the panel in conversation about immunotherapy and targeted therapy approaches to bladder cancer care. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the panel through a question-and-answer session. Topics of the program include:

  • Treating advanced bladder cancer with multiple lines of therapy
  • Approaching the management of relapsed/refractory metastatic bladder cancer
  • Current options and future strategies for muscle-invasive and non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer
  • Applying clinical evidence in early-stage bladder cancer

Join us online for Clinical Interchange: Bladder Cancer Treatment in an Era of Novel Mechanistic Approaches: Emerging Clinical Considerations, a medical symposium brought to you in the comfort of your own home or office.

Target Audience: HCPs Who Treat Bladder Cancer

This educational program is directed toward oncologists, urologists, and researchers interested in the treatment of bladder cancers. Nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment and management of patients with bladder cancer will be invited to participate.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, participants will be better prepared to:

  • Describe the mechanistic rationale for using targeted and immunotherapeutic approaches to treat bladder cancer.
  • Integrate results from pivotal clinical trials evaluating novel strategies for the treatment of bladder cancer, including immunotherapeutic and targeted agents, as well as emerging biomarker data, to develop personalized treatment plans for individual patients
  • Discuss novel agents and combinatorial approaches under investigation for the treatment of bladder cancer across multiple settings, including advanced/metastatic, muscle-invasive, and non–muscle-invasive disease.
  • Consider practice-changing evidence in the context of multidisciplinary, team-based care planning for patients with bladder cancer.
  • Discuss strategies to monitor, identify, and mitigate the impact of treatment-related toxicities that may occur among patients receiving treatment for bladder cancer.
