Clinical decision making for managing patients with lung cancer has changed dramatically over the past couple of years, with guideline updates every few months and new therapies rapidly transforming treatment paradigms. With recent approvals of targeted and immunotherapeutic strategies, community oncologists face compounding complexity in the decision-making process each time they consider treatment options and their associated adverse event profiles. Further, the determination of which biomarkers to assess, which assays to use, and which patients to test can significantly impact treatment choices.

Using an interactive, case-based format, Bring Your Own Case (BYOC™)! Addressing Challenging Clinical Scenarios in Lung Cancer offers an exciting opportunity to help you apply the latest practice-changing clinical trial data, evidence-based testing, and therapeutic strategies for individualized treatment planning for your patients with lung cancer of all types (SCLC and NSCLC) and stages (early and advanced). Thought leaders will be in the audience with you as the program chair leads a review and discussion of management approaches for challenging, real-world patient cases—submitted by you and your peers.

This activity is designed to provide evidence-based guidance and perspectives on areas of uncertainty in lung cancer management, including biomarker testing, treatment selection, and sequencing. Additionally, key planned/ongoing clinical trials that are available to your patients or that may impact your practice in the not-too distant future will be factored into conversations.

Benefits of Attending

  • Approaches that the experts and your peers are using for challenging, real-world lung cancer cases
  • How to apply new clinical trial data in your practice
