Overview:

Clinical decision-making for breast cancer has changed dramatically over the last few decades, and will continue to evolve rapidly as new agents, drug classes, molecular/genomic assays, and biomarkers emerge. Via an interactive, roundtable, case-based format, Bring Your Own Case (BYOC™)! - Addressing Challenging Clinical Scenarios in Breast Cancer offers an exciting opportunity to help you apply the latest practice-changing clinical trial data and evidence-based testing and therapeutic strategies for individualized treatment planning for your patients with breast cancer of all types and stages. Key opinion leaders will be seated in the audience with you as the program chair leads a review and discussion of management approaches for challenging, real-world patient cases—submitted by you and your peers.

This activity is designed to provide evidence-based guidance and perspective on areas of uncertainty in breast cancer management, including molecular testing, treatment selection, and sequencing. Additionally, key planned/ongoing clinical trials that are available to your patients or that may impact your practice in the not-too-distant future will be factored into conversations. The overarching goal of this program is to offer you up-to-date, practical information that you can integrate immediately into your practice. By participating in this exciting program, you will learn about:

  • Approaches that the experts and your peers are using for challenging, real-world breast cancer cases
  • How to apply new clinical trial data in your practice
  • Best practices to proactively identify and mitigate toxicities related to systemic breast cancer therapies
  • Optimizing outcomes for your patients with breast cancer through informed treatment planning
  • Key planned/ongoing clinical trials in breast cancer
