Optimizing Treatment Throughout The Prostate Cancer Continuum: How The Experts Think & Treat

Optimizing Treatment Throughout The Prostate Cancer Continuum: How The Experts Think & Treat

Friday, February 26, 2021

Live, Interactive Webcast

8:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST

Prostate cancer is the leading type of cancer among men. It is estimated that in 2021 over 248,500 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed and nearly 34,000 men will die from the disease. The past decade has witnessed significant advances in the treatment of advanced/metastatic prostate cancer, particularly for patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), largely due to our growing insight into the biology of disease. The new treatments allow physicians to target previously unattainable therapeutic goals and treat patients who would have received suboptimal therapy because of lack of better treatment strategies. Despite access to new agents, the prognosis of men with high-risk CRPC remains poor. Treatment of prostate cancer is challenging because of the heterogeneity of tumors and treatment regimens and the lack of clear recommendations about which treatment should be used at various time points during disease progression.

Optimizing Treatment Throughout the Prostate Cancer Continuum: How The Experts Think & Treat is a CME-certified virtual webcast to be held Friday, February 26, 2021. This program, led by world-class experts in prostate cancer, offers you the chance to learn about current and emerging treatment strategies, evidence-based guidelines, methods for overcoming treatment challenges, and multidisciplinary approaches to the care of patients with prostate cancer across the disease spectrum. Throughout the program, case studies will be used to provide insight into how the experts would treat patients with prostate cancer. Additionally, this program includes a “Bring Your Own Case!” session, where participants can talk to the experts about any case or questions they may have.

Benefits of Attending

  • Hear expert perspectives on the clinical application of recent data
