Release Date: April 10, 2014 Expiration Date: April 10, 2015
Media: Internet-based

Activity Overview

This installment of Medical Crossfire® provides an update on advances in the treatment of head and neck cancer. Modules focus on state-of-the-art management of locally advanced HPV-positive head and neck cancer, including approaches to de-intensification, transoral robotic surgery, and management of positive nodes after chemoradiation, as well as systemic therapy for metastatic HPV-negative head and neck cancer, including EGFR-targeted antibodies and small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Expert faculty present the latest clinical data for standard and emerging treatment approaches, and discuss the application of available clinical evidence as well as their own patient management strategies in the clinic using actual case scenarios.
