Activity Overview

This online activity is designed to update physicians on data that were recently presented in San Diego so they can assess and apply the findings to their clinical practices in managing patients with multiple myeloma. Coverage includes phase III trial data on the treatment of multiple myeloma and promising results from phase I and II studies of emerging management strategies for patients with relapsed/refractory disease.

Target Audience

This educational activity is directed toward medical and surgical oncologists who treat patients with multiple myeloma. Fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with multiple myeloma may also participate.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better prepared to:

  1. Describe the clinical study design and efficacy/safety endpoints from recent/ongoing trials in patients with multiple myeloma
  2. Explain key efficacy and safety results concerning the use of novel strategies that have been evaluated in patients with multiple myeloma
  3. Discuss recent clinical trial evidence in the context of evolving treatment paradigms in the management of patients with multiple myeloma
